Why Tiger doesn't quite have the same roar

Many took notice last week as the Tiger story continued to unravel at the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. He grew up rather close to the course, and was very familiar with winning while playing there going into the tournament. It was a mystery to every analyst who picked Tiger why he ended up T44 on Sunday. I guess what can be said is that he's going through some swing changes, and struggling to take the game from the range to the course, something one would expect out of the weekend-warrior type, but not a 14-time major champion. I guess it goes to show that even the most fundamentally sound and talented golfers in the world struggle with things that regular mortals do.

  1. What has been happening to Tiger is very interesting. Everyone knows about the fiasco that occured last year and it is obvious to see that is leave from the game has really hurt his play. Maybe his focus has strayed a bit from golf or maybe he's just getting older, but maybe it might just be time for him to think about stepping away from the game a bit.
